TWO NAMES, ONE GREAT TEAM.

THE REAL AND IMAGINARY WORLD OF THE CURIO TEAM

The creative minds at the Curio creative agency build imaginative worlds that are so immersive you could almost walk right in. The best example of this is the fictional version of their own creative process, Curio & Co. Populated by the kind of eccentric characters you would find if true whimsy were brought to life, Curio & Co. is the portal to an alternate pop culture history. Play along to discover the childhood you wish you’d had.

CREATING NEW WORLDS

This is the real team working behind-the-scenes to bring you believable artifacts and heartstring-tugging nostalgia from a history that never existed. To ensure that the real world never intrudes on the imaginary one, the Curio creative agency is the only place where we’ll break character and put our real names on the fictional work we’ve created.

TRULY IMMERSIVE STORYTELLING

Completely in character in the alternate world we’ve built, Curio & Co. is a dealer of pop culture art and artifacts. The fictional staff takes their playful work very seriously, scouring bazaars, attics and auction houses around the world to bring you (equally fictional) long-lost treasures from animation, comics and other entertainment ephemera.

COLLECTING SOUVENIRS FROM AN ALTERNATE PAST
We created these products from the Curioverse – a world that is familiar and similar to our own past, but kinder and warmer – as souvenirs from another history. Picking up one of these real, tangible objects gives you the feeling that you’ve picked up a prop from a film set, and the details of each object, from production techniques to the choice of materials – even to the smell and feel of each object – work together to bring the world to life.
